How can i save onedrive for business files to my local pc as a zip file (many or single)? Im trying to all of my photos and videos currently stored in google photos to my synology nas. I used google takeout to export the files using zip locally to my laptop. I unzipped all the compressed files into a single folder and it seems to have all 9 50gb worth of images and video. Extracting multiple zip files simultaneously in windows 11 is a simple process that can save you a ton of time.
Has anyone been able to successfully get a google takeout to kick out all of their photos? When i use it to kick out a zip file to download i barely get any of my photos in the file. When i request it to a onedrive link i get a 500 error and thats been on multiple browsers with many attempts over a week. Are many people seeing the option to download from onedrive multiple files or folders as zip files? I have seen one or two posts from people saying it is available in their tenant and i believe it was to be completed by end of december but see nothing in my tenant. The onedrive web interface does not support unzipping zip files. You can use the onedrive desktop application to sync with your computer and be able to unzip these multiple zip files. I'm in the process of backing up some data into an external drive, but i'm unsure whether i should just transfer them over without doing anything else, or if it'd be better to zip them into a single file and only then copy them over to the drive.
